Hey everyone,
I'm pretty sure this is my first question here on the forums. I hope the initiation ceremony isn't too weird.
My problem - I've got two sites (A and B) which both have their own subnets and PXE servers. Site A hosts a DHCP sever which manages DHCP for both site A and B. The sites are a couple of thousand kilometres away from each other so I'd like clients to stick to their own site's PXE servers. Currently, clients from site B are using the PXE server in site A. I'd like to stop that. Can anyone confirm what DHCP scope options I need to configure? My best guess is the subnet for site B needs Option 66 Boot Server Host Name configured with the host name of the PXE server in site B. Do I need anything else?
All servers in this equation are running Server 2008 R2. DHCP and PXE are NOT running on the same box.
Thanks!
