What is the name of the main admin tool used to configure your backup jobs in your environment? And where is it typically installed?
And can you access the admin tool remotely? We have auditors coming in to review our backup procedures, and they have asked if its possible in netbackup to have a read only account to the central management tools? I am not a backup admin myself so am playing middle man.
Will the auditor have to remote onto the server where the admin tool is setup? Or can you install the client software remotely?
Can you elaborate on what is involved in a netbackup environment, I have heard of "media server", what is installed on the servers themselves?
