Backup Exec 2012 how does server establish trust with remote agent when only given hostname

Hi All,

I was just wondering the process by which a server establishes a connection with a remote agent when it only has the hostname to work with. Most of the time by just specifying a hostname the server can find the remote agent. However, I've occasionally had to add an entry to the host file for the server to be able to find the remote agent.
