New SMTP Agent function come with EV11.x

Hi,

As i know from EV Roadmap last updated that a new smtp agent will come with EV11.x.

i noted that features described that "With the SMTP functionality we are after we can effectively remove the Exchange journal infrastructure from the Exchange architecture".

my question is:if use SMTP agent replace the journal infrastructure,does the SIS(single instance storage) function effect to SMTP agent or it just effective on EV server?

it's significiant for the customer who hope to avoid duplicate email when journaling.
