Exchange restores won't complete after changing Backup Exec Logon Account

Hi all,

I am about at the end of my rope with this.

Back-ups run fine but I am unable to complete any Exchange restore jobs.  When trying to restore a Public Folder item I get 0xe0001781 - The object was not found, or could not be accessed (Exchange restore).  And when trying to restore items to a user's mailbox I get 0xe00002f8 - Cannot open one or more mail messages because of unknown MAPI errors.

We are running Backup Exec 2012 on Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Exchange 2007 on Windows Server 2003 R2.

Restores used to work fine, but since we changed our Backup Exec Service Account restores started completing but then staying in a "dirty shutdown state" pending recovery.  I then changed the Backup Exec log-on account to be the same as the Service Account and have done everything laid out in this KB article: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH51740&profileURL=https%3A%2F%2Fsymaccount-profile.symantec.com%2FSSO%2Findex.jsp%3FssoID%3D13763157365256B4eO7lb97oK4C3oAT5aY4m756shciwwUR401.  I have also added the account in Local Security Policy in all the places that the old account was added.

I have even worked with Symantec support to make sure the account is added correctly!  Does anyone have any ideas on what I'm missing?
