Importing Deleted Tape from Pool Questions

Hello All,

Here is my situation:

Client 1 to Disk Primary Copy retetion 1 year

Client 2 to Disk Primary Copy retention 1 year

Client 1 duplicated to tape retention infinity DDN198 Copy 2

Client 2 duplicated to tape retention infinity DDN199 Copy 2<--------Accidentally deleted in the pool

There is a possibility a backup is spanned across both tapes.

I'm going to retrieve the tapes from the off-site facility.  When I return I will perform am import process on tape DDN199.  Will the import process recognize the tape as Copy 2?  If a backup is spanned across both tapes what will I need to do with tape DDN198 if it's already in the catalog?

If for some reason the import does not go well I can duplicate the primary copies to tape but I would rather try the import process first.  What would you rather do first?
