PCanywhere on remote 'TV' PC

We have PCanywhere installed on a PC which will run a powerpoint presentation output to a TV. If we remote onto the PC and run the presentation it goes fine - as soon as we disconnect PCA from the host the presentation stops and goes into 'edit' mode (as if you have pressed the escape key in mid presentation). Any ideas how I can stop this from happening?
