We have been installing agents with no issues for a while now on Windows 7. This week we put some new systems on a different subnet then we normally use and are having some issue. From the client we can hit the SMP server and get to the download page. However when we click the link to load the bootstrapper we get the following page stating.
It appears that a component of this page required for Automatic download and setup of the Symantec Management Agent software has either failed to download or has been disabled.
There is a link to manually install which will install the agent but the agent stays in the Not Initialized state and you can see it on the server.
I'm not an expert with Altiris and am learning as I go as this was installed by my predecessor. Is there somewhere on the server side that I might need to add network settings if i want it to talk to another subnet. The client and server and ping each other so on our network it appears to be fine.
