I currently use GPO based logon script and since Win7 have had to use the launchapp.wsf fix which is ugly and prone to not working in various configurations.
I though it would be good to try changing the logon script to Altiris/Symantec Management using a Policy that is scheduled to run at user logon, running a task that has a script to map network drives as the logged on use. This works but seems to have the same UAC issue - the drives never appear in the standard user session, only if you run any applications as administrator.
Does anyone know a way to force the drives to map in the user (non-elevated) space?
