Hello Team ,

Please find the below details

BE Version : 2010 R3

Operating Sytem : Windows 2008  R2 Standard

Tape Drive :IBM ULT3580-HH5

Firmware Version : C7RD

Issue : Data compression is not working properly @ 1:1

Data is getting backed less than 1 TB for LTO5 Tape , previoulsy same tape has been used for backup & it has written upto 1.8 TB

The compression ratio actually achievable depends on the data being compressed. Some data has little redundancy; large video files, for example, already use compression technology and cannot be compressed further.

Data Written in bytes :996860679404

Could you please provide a solutioin
