Here is the problem we are facing, We have a process that our users run on an IPAD they have three text boxes at the top to type in search items such as toilet, Hardwood etc. They can then pick from a drop down a level of trim. When they hit search it runs a quck query and returns any items that match the search boxes. These results are in a grid in a dynamic panel. If they select one of the returned values it shows a little more detailed info below. This all works no problem.
Now we want to do some pricing displays for the users. So this is where that forth option trim level comes in. What we want is based on the trim level they pick we want to populate a field in the dynamic udpate panel with the price that corresponds in the database. We are trying to do this with a dynamic model.
See attached picture for the dynamic model we are trying to use. We keep getting caught in the Text rule does not exsit. We are just having it look for text from the selected items from the dynamic grid above but nothing is coming in so the value is always 0.00
