Hi all,
We currently replicate our Netbackup Master server (a vm) to a secondary site using Veeam. We are discontinuing the use of Veeam in favor of SRM, but they are not wanting to continue this type of replication with SRM due to the size and change rate of my catalog (a full backup of our catalog is nearly 1tb.) Would setting up a second master server at the remote site be a good idea, or are you all doing something different that you might recommend for this? The other team is waiting on me for a solution so that they can drop Veeam replication altogether. I'm not quite a noob at backups (notwithstanding some of my previous questions :-\ ), but this isn't something I've attempted before, so I'm not sure if its the best solution. I know I should provide more 'environmental' information, so just ask, and I will. I have the article on setting this up if I go this route. Fyi.......
Thanks all,
Todd
