After one of the most controversial decisions in boxing history, Timothy Bradley will be defending his title against Manny Pacquiao
Pacquiao vs. Bradley 2 will take place on Saturday, April 12, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It will be produced and distributed live by HBO pay-per-view beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Pac-Man’s next fight is a rematch against Bradley, who lifted the title from Pacquiao on June 9, 2012. Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO) lost a controversial split decision to Bradley (31-0, 12 KO) in 2012. As the vast majority felt Pac-Man deserved the victory, WBO, which sanctioned the fight, appointed a panel to re-judge the bout, which concluded Pacquiao had won.
Afterwards, Bradley was bombarded with vile, malicious comments, including death threats from outraged Pacquiao fans. Following the controversial bout, Pacquiao was knocked out in his next fight with Juan Manuel Marquez in December 2012, then came back in Nov. 2013, defeating Brandon Rios in Macau.
