Hi

I was running my exchange backup on tape drives and everything was working fine since my tape drive stopped working, instead of repairing the tape drive i bought a new 2TB hdd on which i have targeted my all backup jobs by creating backup to disk folder each of 200GB. No the problem is my all backup jobs are running good which includes full/incremental backups but my exchange bakcup job whether that is full exhange backup or incremental exchange backup is hanging on loading media status for hours. I have canceled the job manually everytime and got this error log .

"Backup- \\dc2.aayanre.com\Microsoft Information Store\3rd Storage Group V-79-57344-759 - The version of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Management Tools on the Backup Exec media server must be the same version or later as the management tools that are on the Exchange Server 2007 that you want to back up.

Backup- \\dc2.aayanre.com\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group V-79-57344-3850 - The media operation was terminated by the user.
V-79-57344-33935 - The backup-to-disk folder that was specified for this job ran out of disk space. The backup set has been deleted, and the backup-to-disk folder has been paused.
Either free some disk space, or specify a different backup-to-disk folder for the job. Before other jobs can use this folder, you must clear the Pause state. On the Devices view, right-click the folder and click Pause to remove the check mark."

I have re created the job and tried but same result. I dont see the space issue as well because my exchange databases are of 97 GB whereas the folder size i assigned is 200GB.

Job properties are : KEEP data infinetly, do not overwrite media
Append to media if no overwriteable media is available

Could anyone please suggest on the above issue. your valuable help will be appreciated

Thx
