As a loyal Symantec partner who deploys the product into many clients, we now find that the solution no longer meets our customer's needs due to the absence of major functionality.
Still missing from the product:
- Windows Server 2012 support (server or agent)
- Exchange Server 2013 support
- GRT restores from RDX media
- RDX media rotation issues (no overwrite/reclaim of media sets requiring daily manual intervention)
Our customers needed this functionality months ago, and we are still waiting on a loose promise to receive these by July. We now have to delay all of our infrastructure refreshes due to your slow development cycle.
We are now looking to other vendors to provide reliable backup solutions for our customers once their maintenance contracts expire.
