How to properly eject tape from autoloader.

I use Backupexec 2012 and an HP Autoloader MSL2024. I ran a complete backup job for all of my servers, set the tape to "Keep data for Infinite - Don't allow overwrite" and now we think it would be a good idea to eject the tape and put in a fireproof container.

What I don't know is how to properly eject the tape. Do I do it in Backupexec or in the MSL2024?

Does Backupexe need to know it was ejected or removed from the Autoloader?

I did tell the job to "Eject the media after the job completes." -- This did nothing.

Advise would be appreciated.

P.S. It is one tape at this point. Mostly full, but I know which one it is, in the library.
