Multiple NIC cards

We refreshed our Windows 2003 master sever with a windows 2008 master, and upgraded from 6.5.4 to 7.1.0.4.   In the process, we have lost the ability to access one of the media servers.   It is still at 6.5.4 for the time being.   Whenever we request it, we get a RC 811 "Failed to communicate with resource requester"  By requester, I am thinking they arwe speaking of the EMM (master ) server.   I have run bptestnetconn, and the PBX, BPCD and VNETD connections show successful.   The master has 3 NIC cards, and I did see a msg in the media bptm log that referenced one of the secondary cards.   How do I let all servers in the infrastructure know that there is only one NIC card that they should respond to.  I think that might take care of my RC 811
