Retain backups in catalog for 2 years

Hello Everyone,

I want to retain the Weekly backups for 2 years in the catalog and I had changed the retention value to 2 years for level 8 by using 

NetBackup Management > Host Properties > Master Server > Double-click on master server > Retention Periods.

Earlier it was set to 9 weeks but now the company wants to retain backups for 2 years!

But yesterday when the Weekly backup ran the earlier tape was erased.... so it not working...

I have now changed it to Level 9 of infinnity and restarted the services... by using BPDOWN and BPUP.

Anything that I am missing?
