This is a how to video on manually assigning agents to a site server using the VMM solution in an IT Management Suite environment. A manually assigned agent is a computer that has been manually assigned to a site rather than assigned through its subnet.
In scenarios, where you have run the inventory, but the task gets queued then you must verify whether the virtual resource (Host/VM) is assigned to any site server or not. If the virtual resource does not assigned to any site server or you want to execute the tasks through the remote site servers then you must manually assign the agents to a site server. You can assign the Host (Hypervisor) or VM separately to a remote site server. Once the agent is assigned to the site server, you can perform the VMM tasks efficiently without having issues with the task going in queue.
